The larger figures, standing about 5'11" (female) and 5' 8" were created on
wooden frameworks around which hardware cloth, canvas, burlap and sheet metal
and were attached. The forms were then covered with in areas with fiberglass
matting, resin and Bondo , and found objects were added . The statues were then
painted with acrylic paints and sprayed with a matte clear coat A third figure
(below), composed of scrap lumber and found objects, was constructed about six
months later.
