Exhibitions

Birmingham artist has exhibit at garden center

An exhibition by Birmingham artist Victor Pytko is on display at
Goldner Walsh Nursery in Pontiac.

The show of more than a dozen new paintings opened June 19
and runs through Aug. 1.

Pytko, 62, exhibits around the state, as well as Colorado, New
York and Virginia. He works in both realistic and abstract styles.
The lifelong painter maintains studios at his home in
Birmingham and at the Pioneer Building in Detroit.

The public is invited to meet the artist and enjoy refreshments at
a reception, 5:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday.

Goldner Walsh Nursery is at 559 Orchard Lake Road in Pontiac.

Pytko's artwork can be viewed during regular business hours, 9
a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays;
9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays, and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
